Whose Kingdom are you building up? Psalm 145:13-21

Though our world is fractured into about 196 sovereign countries really there are only 2 Kingdoms. The Kingdom of power and light and the Kingdom or dominion of darkness. Whose Kingdom are you building? 
King David once again clarifies this in Psalm 145:13-21. So lets read through that passage as we look for an answer to whose Kingdom we ought to be building.

1. Who is David addressing in verse Psalm 145:13 ?  Isa 9:7; Dan 2:44; Dan 7:14; Dan 7:27; 1 Tim 1:17; Rev. 11:15

2.  Will both Kingdoms continue perpetually?   1 Cor 15:21-28

3.  What does David mean by those who fall in Psalm 145:14? Are they literally stumbling?  See Genesis 3; Psalm 37:24; Psalm 94:18; Luke 22:31-32

4.  What does David mean by raises up?  From where does one need to rise?

5.  What characteristic does David say is evident in those whom God chooses to help?  Psalm 145:14; Psalm 38:6; Psalm 42:5; Psalm 146:8 ; Luke 13:11-13   What do these passage say about God’s character?

6.  Much is said in our world about over population and the lack of our ability to sustain such growth.  Which Kingdom is this an attitude of according to David?  Psalm 145:15; Psalm 104:21,27; Psalm 136:25  Is there a shortage of food in God’s Kingdom?

7.  How does God supply His Kingdom’s needs ?  Psalm 145:16; Psalm 147:8-9; Psalm 132:15; Mat 6:26; Luke 12:24; Acts 17:25   Does God’s Kingdom withhold food and the necessities of life from anyone?   Psalm 145:19 Matt 5:6; What about the other Kingdom?  To which Kingdom do you attribute the starvation in parts of the world? 1 Tim. 6:10; 1 John 2:16; Jer. 6:13;

8. What character traits does David give of God in Psalm 145:17?   Deut 32:4; Psalm 50:6; Psalm 89:14

9. How accessible  is God’s Kingdom?  How do we connect with the King?  Psalm 145:18; Psalm 34:17;Psalm 46:1; Deut 4:7; Isa 58:9; Jer 29:11-13; John 4:24; James 4:8; 1 John 3:20-22.  What about the other Kingdom? Psalm 10:3; 1 Kings 18:27-28; Matt 6:5-8; Isa 57:6-8; Isa 44:9-19; Hab 2:18; Psalm 135:15-17; Eze 20:32;  Rom 1:21-23

10.  Whose Kingdom would you want to be a part of?  God’s Kingdom []? Psalm 145:20 See Psalm 31:3; Psalm 37:28; Psalm 97: 10; Ex 20:6; John 10:27-29; Rom 8:29-30; James 2:5; Matt 6:33  

Or the Dominion of Darkness []? Psalm 1:6; Psalm 9:17; Matt 25:41; James 5:1-6; Gal 5:19-21

11. What should those who are a part of God’s Kingdom do according to David in Psalm 145:21?  Psalm 67:3-4; Psalm 86:9;  Psalm 117:1-2; Rev. 5:11-14.   What will those in the dominion of darkness be found doing? Phil 2:10-11; Rom 14:11; Isa 45:22; Rev. 5:13  Where will they be doing this? Luke 13:28; Matt 13:42; Psalm 112:10; Matt 8:12; Matt 25:30

12.  Given what you have just learned about the two Kingdom on earth which one would you like to build up?  What’s stopping you from doing so today.
